The Children's Board Family Resource Centers in North Tampa, Fla. will provide free hearing, vision, and developmental screenings for kids on April 13, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. on a walk-in basis.
- Hearing tests (a $25 value) will be provided by St. Joseph's Children's Advocacy Center for children ages birth to 18.
- Vision tests (a $23 value) will be provided by Prevent Blindness Florida for 2-18 year-old kids. Assistance for glasses and further exams will be available for those who qualify.
- Developmental screenings will identify milestones and social competence for kids ages 4 months-4 years old. Enrollment in the optional "Watch Me Grow" program will also be available.
No appointments are necessary for either screening.
