The Pasco County Office of Emergency Management hosts two free Hurricane Expos this year and will provide certified sign language interpreters at each event.
The first expo will take place at J. Ben Harrill Recreation Center, 2830 Gulf Trace Blvd, Holiday, Fla. on June 2, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Chief Meterologist Steve Jerve from News Channel 8 will be the special guest speaker sharing useful information about hurricanes and how to be prepared for them.
The second expo will be hosted a week later, June 9, at The Zephyrhills Lions Club, 5827 Dean Dairy Rd, Zephyrhills, Fla. from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. with meteorologist Leigh Spann from News Channel 8 as guest speaker.
