Boost your deaf, hard-of-hearing child's self esteem with dolls, bears wearing hearing aids

Your deaf and hard-of-hearing child might feel different among her hearing peers and as a result, suffer from lower self esteem.
Giving her a doll or bear that also wears a hearing aid might foster self-acceptance, which in turn will boost her self esteem.
You can purchase the toy plastic hearing aid for the doll for only $9 and the plush hearing aid for the teddy bear for $2 on amazon.

  1. I do not encourage that. It is negative and trying to teach deaf kids to be hearing people with sound. A deaf culture is supposed to be deafness and no sound and be proud.

The hearing aids is like Cochlear implant. It is a robot technology in our ears. Disgusting. No thanks.
